That's the whole point — and you're the judge. Upload 2–3 clear photos and we draw their storybook character. You see it first ("Meet their character!") and approve it before anything else is made. Then every preview page is yours to review too, and you can ask for a redraw of any page you're not happy with, before you pay a rupee.

They are used for exactly one thing: drawing your child's character and the pages of their book. To draw them, the photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI, and they are stored on Cloudflare until we delete them. They are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.

Seven days, currently. A cleanup job runs once a day and deletes the photos you uploaded — and the character sketches drawn from them — once they are more than seven days old. Because it runs daily rather than continuously, a photo can be up to about eight days old when the job reaches it. What stays is the thing you paid for: your book pages, PDF or video, so you can re-download your purchase. Abandoned previews nobody paid for are deleted on the same schedule.

Yes, yourself, in a few seconds. In the app, open your Account screen and tap “Delete account”. On the web, sign in at toongen.app/account and use the “Delete account” box. It takes effect immediately and there is no undo — so download anything you want to keep first. What gets deleted →

A book you have paid for still gets printed and delivered — deleting your account never cancels a parcel. We keep the order record itself, because a payment is what a refund and a GST invoice are issued against, but we cut your name and account off it so it can no longer be traced back to you.
